There were 3 men sitting outside the laundry next to my bank.
One of the men had some kind of Vererans ID card. They were asking for change I guess. I hurried by them because I wanted to get some rice from the Chinese take-out place next door.
Inside the Chinese place I started thinking about the men and their faces and I decided I couldn't walk past them with my bowl of rice and just ignore them. So I bought them some rice, chow mein, and water. As I walked past them I put the food and water down and said "here you go guys". They all said "Thank you."
I sat in my car for a while wondering why I did that.
I think I need to help others more.
